Making the case that opposites attract
It’s “la difference” that makes working across two dissimilar photographic directions (straight minimalism and abstraction) entertaining, motivating and challenging.

Black & White
My B&W is moving towards a contemporary direction but I still pursue the classic genres of minimal landscape and architecture. Some say they view those B&W and Monochrome images as the serious or quiet work. I'm pretty much onboard with that.

Color
If B&W is the deliberate work than color allows for some fun. It's playtime with no boundaries. I feel at ease sliding from abstraction into pop art, foraging from the street or dipping into experimental styles like ICM (intentional camera movement). Bottom line with color - once the subject is found and framed up, it's game on! Bold, loud and graphic is what I'm chasing.

Grid Series
The Grid Series photo collges are one-off art constructions consisting of (54) 3" squares hand-cut from three separate Inkjet prints (archival Epson Hot Press paper). Sometimes I incorporate hand distressing of each square which is followed by meticulously aligning and gluing them to a sheet of 30" x 22" heightweight watercolor paper (Arches 300 lb. Hot Press).

Archived Portfolios
The archive is an ongoing collection of frontline portfolios (e.g. landscape, architecture, people, etc), specialized albums and an eclectic mix of travelogues that include both recent and past work.
